5S1 in Five Star Hotel

Before that when we first saw the brochure of Raja Chulan Hotel , we’re all filled with disgust + horror while looking at the traditional Malay building which still rated as 5 Star Hotel. How on earth are we going to enjoy in such Malay-ish hotel? Yeah have to admit the fact that, we were racist. Nevertheless , note the word ‘WERE’! We turned out having a fabulous dinner there…

Er-hem. . . put me as the main character first in this post yeah. Ok Had tuition with Justin and GIgi in the morning, and because of the power failure in Martin Tuition centre, we had no choice but to spend our time loitering at Pudu Plaza.

Went back home without filling stomach with any single food, I rest and dressed myself. Gigi’s mum fetch us to Midah bus station at 5 and left 2 pathetic boys , with nice dress somemore, explored their way to Royale Chulan, which located in KL. We could only count on Google Earth and we went there by all means – bus, monorail … And oh yeah.. we had a chance to glimpse at the demolished Pudu Jail.

Later on , walked from Raja Chulan station to Pavilion , and had to trust Gigi who led the way. Yaya, I saw this Hakka restaurant in the map. yeah this was the one I saw, Prince Hotel..  So eventually, we reached there – Royale Chulan Hotel, a magnificent buiilding.

SMKTC 5S1 Party

Too boring? Napkin on head

You know, people looked down as Chinese because they , or I shall say we , are notorious for our despicable behaviour – never be punctual to any function. Why go so far? Same thing happened in 5S1 party. We were supposed to start the dinner by 6.30 pm , sharp. And guess what. Finally dinner began at 7.30pm I think. . .

Everybody arrived and most of us dressed gorgeously and left a lot to be desired. It turned out to be like a fashion show until Pn Usha couldn’t stop praising us. Seperti rusa masuk kampung, we guys were like , behaved ourselves very well in that hotel. As Hong Seng said : Our actions speak volume… But of course, the gentleness didn’t last long…

Pn Usha joined our table and actually sat beside me. Feeling pressured, we zipped our mouth, talked very little . Were actually trying very hard to find topic so that we wouldn’t bore her.

Speeches from Class Monitor and Class teacher of 5S1.

Ok cut the craps yeah.

You know, when you are in a high class hotel, you will be bound to act in a polite manner. So being very gently, I tried my very best to eat like what I had been taught in Form 2 KH, courtesy of eating. Pn Usha was beside me and this added on my burden lol. I’d forgotten to place the napkin on my laps. Quickly did it after seeing others did that. Then I took prawn and faced difficulty in removing the shell. And I couldn’t be holding it with my bare hands, like what I did in the Chinese restaurant, could I?  Come on, hotel man. So I actually put the whole crappy thing into my mouth, chewed it, tried to remove the shell with my the help of tongue and teeth. Pity me…

Ohh anyway, the food was delicious and I rated it 8.

I seriously think the school should teach us on this. otherwise our clumsy actions will embarrass us.

Well. we photoshooted and time flied , then you know, Pn Usha leaving. then we took photos with her and I was fortunate enough to squat beside her. And also because of that, I realised something : her eyes welled up with tears. Her nose was red. It’s still visible though her skin color was dark . No jokes. Our unity , our uniqueness melted her heart of stone , or metal? What made this woman be emotional tonight? Only she knew that.

We spotted one Malay actor and singer ,( the rather plump woman ) while taking photos. Ok at least she is famous in Malaysia. And together we took photo and she was creative + humorous in posing!

She shouted :

1st shot – serious. 2nd shot – fun. 3rd shot – confused. 4th shot – angry. 5th one – just be happy. And she’s so good in creating fun.

After that, before Pn Usha left, we surrounded her and started shouting like maniac and happily we sent her out.

Now the lioness started to grow wild after pretended to be as tame as kittens for quite a moment.

Below are some solid evidences :

My Words

* When I was in primary school, just before the day we graduated ,we had a small class discussion and everyone started pledging promises that we would not forget each other. Well it was a total lie. Nothing stays forever in this world of reality. Life is like this. In line with the aging process, we will meet different friends , having different way of thinking. This is the metamorphosis of life. Now whenever I see my primary school friend, simply just a Hi or a nod connect us. That’s all.

So yes. I understand the cruelty. It’s just the article of fact that couldn’t be denied. Four more months , we’re going to graduate. We may have class trip or anything else. But months later, you have your own life and so do I. Gradually, the bonds between us go weaker and weaker. I’m not here to scare anyone, but this had just somehow occurred to me after having such a wonderful night with you. I hope this wouldn’t happen , but how is it possible?

Pn Yeap taught me that we must have a KESIMPULAN for everything. So after much of my talk, KESIMPULANNYA , friends, treasure the four months of high school life, and be as happy as possible so that wonderful memories will still linger in our minds. Right after that, everything will start changing , for good. . .

I started blogging so happily, but end this with sadness and sorrow…How I wish these 4 months fly slowly.
