Justin’s 17th Birthday

Can’t believe I can still blog in this very crucial moment?

Yeah it’s Day 3 of SPM. BM was unexpectedly easy but well, History turned out to be otherwise. Or in another word , I got to say ,a surprising one. Looking at the paper which consisted of only 1 or 2 pity spotted question will leave you stunned for few seconds, and  the next thing you will do is to laugh pathetically at yourself. LOL. No one asked you to believe the KONONNYA SEJARAH PENCERAMAH TERBAIK 100%.

I am glad. Am still surviving.

7 more subjects to go.

______________________

And today is Tin’s birthday, a friend whom I am quite close with since the beginning of this year, after attending countless tuition classes and seminars together. LOL let me tell you, strong friendship can actually be established by joining tuition classes together. Or more specifically, by sharing secrets with one another. ( Oh I just found out I did wish him in my blog last year. Time flies. )

Of course, not only that , we bravely sang ‘You Raise Me Up’ together during Teachers’ Day Celebration and even named ourselves as ‘JJ’ , what a shame! We don’t have such beautiful vocals to be proud of, anyway. But since they named themselves as ‘ Wonder Boyz’ , it’s ok to call ourselves as JJ. Oh Mind You, it’s just purely JJ , not J And J! xD

So when he was unaware, I stole the King’s Coupons from his bag and yeah the first time being a thief, but with a good intention I think, that’s to save our pocket money. Hey it was a 50% Discount coupon man!

And after that dreadful shitty exam, went to King’s and chose a cake. Erm the below one looked nice and delicious right? yeah we chose it. And this was also the most expensive cake that we’d spent after celebrating for so many friends.

DSC01769

Happy SEJARAH. Since he’s fated to sit the Sejarah exam in his birthday. But too bad, Nabi did not bless him despite his Big Day today. Questions were hard. :(

Kah Leong drove us to Leisure Mall later then , and wow, my first time having a friend as my driver @ ah Mat. And god bless, we reached Leisure and yeah, we’re SAFE! ‘BerSYUKUR’ , HS said. xD

We asked a waiter in Wong Kok to keep the cake first, then we joined the group. And Wong Kok served us with HUGE BUBBLE MILK TEA! Yeah apparently. But do not easily deceived my its false appearance k? Half of it was full with big and small ice cubes and worse still, the waiter cruelly rejected me when I asked for a refill! xD

DSC01771

And HS usual job la , to serve everybody.

And after lunch, some of them went to toilet, but in fact they went and retrieve the cake from the counter to celebrate. But so sorry la. It wasn’t a surprise anymore when Tin saw it from far. Yeah So spoilt the surprise le. But I believe there was still a momentary surprise when he first saw it from far..

So we sang the loudest birthday song ever, with the intention of telling everyone in the restaurant that it was his birthday, and also to put him in a embarrassing position, purposely.

DSC01773

Yeah here he is. Fa-qiao-ing … Pretty shy. ( woah the photo looks good right? )

DSC01776

After cutting cake, eating cake, and PLAYING with cake, I went back home.

Yeah it was raining quite heavily while we leaving. And again, started to get myself sentimental and the rain made it worse. It may be the last time celebrating for him , most probably. The first and the last. How memorable it would be in the future when we reminisce it back. Oh forgot to take a group photo just now. Well, very soon, SPM will be over, and no more a school student anymore. And it’s time to wave your hand and say goodbye …

Parting is excruciatingly painful . Yet this is just a process of life that everyone must undergo without exception, to make you grow stronger and tougher. Though I did say, in line with the technologically advanced world,we can just sms and send warm regards to one another in the future. But how long will this gradually fragile relationship last with these?

Very soon, you’ll have your own friends and I have mine. That’s an undeniable fact. It’s inevitable, just like what Tin said. I remembered my days in Standard 6, when I pointed to some of my very close friends and naively I uttered, “"You’re my best friend”. And we used to pass around a notebook where everybody left his signature there and we never forget to add phrases like “ Don’t forget me” , “Friends forever” or most ridiculous one, “Remember to send me an invitation card to your wedding in future.” And all these turn out to be just empty promises since we rarely communicate with each other, even with the new existence of this social network website, Facebook. At most, we would just say Hi when we bump to one another, or some of them won’t give you a damn, pretending as if they didn’t know you.

Or another concrete example. I used to be close with Wen Hui and Zirou in Form 3, since we’re in the same class. We decorated our class so nicely and got the first for that competition. We joined trips to somewhere else after PMR, and even studied together few days before PMR. Still remember vividly what Wen Hui said, “ We might be in different classes next year, but we will still have a close relationship even that". And now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to blame, just to point out some evidence to prove my statements right. Even we meet, we’ll just say Hi or chat for a very short time. Because we are in different classes already, do not share the same topic like we used to have in the old days…

Must reach to a conclusion after crapping so much. So it’s a heart-rending fact that everyone must accept. There’s nothing we can do but to, MOVE ON. So treasure what we have now, so that there will be no regrets.

Smile

Yeah, nearly forgot to add a photo of Tin kena bullied with cakes.

Last Day In School

Blogging kills. 3 posts in a day. I must blog. Otherwise I can’t study like yesterday. The same page of Sejarah Tingkatan 4 was still displayed there, lying on table, without realising half an hour has passed.

Last day in school. I thought it will be a sad day  and can see people crying around, wiping tears. But it just turn out to be the same happy normal day. Is this the last day of school? Hahaha.

Coming to school happily and see no one is there, I join the 5E1 gang with their talk and later settle the prefects’ certs. Later on, we are asked to arrange tables and chairs for SPM. So glad that my name started with a big nice L – almost a middle alphabet among the 26, so I enter the class with 24 students, not the one with only 12! Haha the more the people, you feel warmer and feel less panic when answering exams.

Enter the hall and wait for other classes to arrive. I don’t know that they’re late. So Majlis Restu officially begins with lectures.

This is our last formal ceremony in school and I thought will be getting sentimental speeches that can make us feel sad and reluctant to leave the school. It should be like this, shouldn’t it? Yes the students are late but they should tolerate with this. Scolding students in front of other special guest wont make things turn better but it’s like menconteng arang ke muka sendiri.  So what’s the point of wasting time ?  This is not what I want.

The last time singing national anthem in school. Everybody sings so energetically ,including me,  full with enthusiasm , for the first time and the last time.

Our class takes the lead and we get up and shake hands , receiving warm regards from teachers. Give Pn Yeap a big big hug when approaching her.

P1010053

Vincent, Andrea, Ida , Kailing. Lovely.

After shaking hands, see no sign of Pn Usha. Only after a while more we see her standing near the backstage, look moody. And Sheau Hwee, Jia Pin and me rush towards her. And I ask her, why didn’t she shake hands with us together with other teachers? She says she isn’t strong enough to be there, to see us leaving… and she starts telling story about last year…

Jokingly I ask her to stop saying that, claming that Jia Pin will cry. And Jia Pin really break into tears on the spot and next one is Sheau Hwee. One by one, she gives us hugs. And then the boys come and she starts her speech.

I can see tears in her eyes. She is strong to not let the tears drop. She is strong. I can feel the tenderness.

She wanted to get rid of our class when she first stepped into 4S1. But at the end of the day, she can’t accept the fact that we’re leaving her. After all, Carnival, performances , class dinner, we’ve been through all the thick and thin.

Humans are animal with emotions. It’s not easy to say goodbye.

Luckily her speech wasn’t too long. If not I doubt Yew Choong can resist tears from flowing out till the end..

Then she hugs everyone.

And we form a gang, called Usha Gang.

Finally she has a gang…

Then we join the crowd.

P1010055

Pn Chin and pinkies.

P1010067

Guang Ze points to KL, saying that want to take photo with him. It’s good to leave all the hatred in school before you leave. :)

P1010069P1010070

Mr John kena bullied . Huai Liang’s cane and Jia Pin’s kick.

P1010072P1010074

And we love Mr. John .

Mr John is super good in front of camera.

P1010075

Needless to say , my dearest teacher, more like a friend, or my second mum. Unexpectedly, I don’t feel sad, at all. Because today is not a day to say goodbye. I give her a big hug again.

I miss the days of poem recitation training…

P1010079

5S1 last photo session. But only 33 out of 42. Where are the 9?

P1010080

Everyone with weird expression.

P1010083

P1010084

Pn Usha and me. The last photo, but won’t be the last time for us to meet. ; )

P1010094P1010091P1010096P1010060

Sel , a friend whom I know for 5 years , looked so pretty today, with the librarian uniform.  Still remember her funny look in 1A. The most bising one.

Mei Chin, the pen. KP in afternoon session who used to fight with me over the smallest issues. Miss the days.

Zirou, a hardworking one and full of love toward her friends. Can see this when working with her.

Divya, classmate since 1A. Will miss her after school life. ( Wow I dunno she’s that short. proven smart )

P1010099P1010098

And lastly Hong Seng and Tin. 2 closest friends among all.

Agogo Fried Chicken Stall. I will always remember that.

A day of having fun in school. Taking photo is very fun! So how are you going to cry when you see your friends fooling around, making jokes?

This is the end of my 5 years schooling days. Cannot believe that it ends in such a way... Well, just accept it.

                                            Love SMKTC!

SPM is just 6 days ahead. Pump oil everyone ;)

# Say Bye To the School Cat too.

Pn Chin’s Retirement Day & Wei Shan’s Birthday

>She is a strict teacher that showed little leniency to our chemistry test papers. A perfectionist.

>She always cracked cold jokes and ended up laughing herself while teaching in class.

>She tak boleh tahan to see students letting precious time pass, with no progress. That made her always start our chemistry class with at least 5 minutes lecture.

>She started her teaching career in SMKTC when I was still a crying baby. With her undying passion in teaching Chemistry , she earned respect from everyone. This is strongly proven when there are so many former students turn up on the day she retire.

>She is Puan Chin , one of my favourite teachers in SMKTC. And also the best chemistry teacher , I believe.

P1010055

P1010041

I have already sent my regards through SMS. Again, Happy Retirement and enjoy life !

美女? Yeah it’s Wei Shan 17th Birthday , a smart and intelligent girl, but rather short. So what to be short? Wwe have to admit that, shorties are smart. Why say so?

Yap Wei Shan is smart. Chin Hong Seng is smart. Lee Chin Yung is smart. So in conclusion, shorties are smart.

I presume, the nerve cell of ours are shorter than others and allow information to be transmitted in a shorter time. Haha pandai aku merepek…

Why 美女?No idea. It’s believable that she will turn pretty after 18.

P1010044

Her wish is simple, that is – everyone got the result they hoped for in SPM. Like .

73907_1222113009717_1735710870_415666_5309437_n

And the boy picking his nose behind her.

P1010046

First time saw Wei Shan in Form 1, I thought she was those kind of girl who don’t care about study. But it’s just otherwise.

P1010048P1010049

And at the same time, It’s also Gigi, Tin and Hs’ unofficial birthdays!

77187_1222120209897_1735710870_415728_6560391_n

Well, Happy 17th Birthday Wei Shan and all the best in coming exam. Hope YOUR WISHes COME TRUE!  Smile

When your wishes come true, so do mine. xD

Connaughtian of the Year 2010

P1000955

I love this photo. The smoky effect made it looked more like some spooky dead spirits coming out from hell . (The one holding the trophy was Ida xD)  Haha. This was the 2010 Connaughtian of the Year ceremony , don’t get yourself wrong.

P1000964

Being elected as one of the 6 candidates was something great. Yet nothing will be greater than having a bunch of friends who shouted and screamed for you until the entire hall filled with the echoes of their voices when you were introduced by the emcee. Wow , that’s really great man!

P1000966

Have to show the most charming SMILE Smile, as if you are pretty calm , but in fact there’re already uncountable butterflies in your gut! Hey , sitting on the stage , can imagine how nervous was I?

P1000976

Reading my biodata. Just felt that all my hard works got well paid and filled with great satisfaction at the moment. 2 achievements that I proud of the most – Champion in Chinese Poem Recitation (National Level) and Best Company , which was also champion in the ExxonMobil Young Entrepreneur Program.

40752_495083598242_296089733242_7020745_8301079_n150334_495084143242_296089733242_7020758_5548864_n

Reading all the biodata of all candidates took about 20 minutes I think. Finally, the emcees announced me emerging as the Connaughtian of the Year for 2010 and the background music was played even louder. Claps were all around and this was definitely going to be a page of glory in the book of my life.

149825_495863483242_296089733242_7027853_1787165_n

According to Miss Andrea, the trophy was made of pure piuter ( it’s not from pasar malam) and cost more than RM300 , and I was stunned with my jaw half dropped when I learnt that. Wow I didn’t know the school was so generous for this. Thx Pn Usha , fighting for it.

Wanna express my deepest gratitude to the one that had helped me, giving me the right advice, called me and taught me the right answering techniques before I entered the interview room. Though I wasn’t really performing well in that interview. Thank You. SmileYou’re always there .

Erm, gonna attend dinner with Pn Pengetua this Thursday. Erm, it’ll be wonderful, I hope so.
