I love this photo. The smoky effect made it looked more like some spooky dead spirits coming out from hell . (The one holding the trophy was Ida xD) Haha. This was the 2010 Connaughtian of the Year ceremony , don’t get yourself wrong.
Being elected as one of the 6 candidates was something great. Yet nothing will be greater than having a bunch of friends who shouted and screamed for you until the entire hall filled with the echoes of their voices when you were introduced by the emcee. Wow , that’s really great man!
Have to show the most charming SMILE , as if you are pretty calm , but in fact there’re already uncountable butterflies in your gut! Hey , sitting on the stage , can imagine how nervous was I?
Reading my biodata. Just felt that all my hard works got well paid and filled with great satisfaction at the moment. 2 achievements that I proud of the most – Champion in Chinese Poem Recitation (National Level) and Best Company , which was also champion in the ExxonMobil Young Entrepreneur Program.
Reading all the biodata of all candidates took about 20 minutes I think. Finally, the emcees announced me emerging as the Connaughtian of the Year for 2010 and the background music was played even louder. Claps were all around and this was definitely going to be a page of glory in the book of my life.
According to Miss Andrea, the trophy was made of pure piuter ( it’s not from pasar malam) and cost more than RM300 , and I was stunned with my jaw half dropped when I learnt that. Wow I didn’t know the school was so generous for this. Thx Pn Usha , fighting for it.
Wanna express my deepest gratitude to the one that had helped me, giving me the right advice, called me and taught me the right answering techniques before I entered the interview room. Though I wasn’t really performing well in that interview. Thank You. You’re always there .
Erm, gonna attend dinner with Pn Pengetua this Thursday. Erm, it’ll be wonderful, I hope so.

I got the same feeling. Again, congratz for your victory. Though some opinions state otherwise, I sincerely believe that you deserve this tittle.
Meet you at the dinner!
